v1.5.7
Application Management Fixes and Mentorship Enhancements
New Features
- Bulk Application Decline: Administrators can now decline multiple mentee applications at once using a new bulk decline endpoint, making it faster to manage large applicant pools.
- Program Terms API: A new endpoint is available to retrieve program terms, along with enriched data structures that include application counts and active user summaries — enabling better visibility into program activity.
- Expanded Program Descriptions: Program administrators can now write longer program descriptions, with the character limit increased from 1,500 to 3,000 characters, allowing for more detailed and informative program listings.
Bug Fixes
- Mentee Re-application Task Status: Fixed an issue where task statuses were not correctly updated when a mentee re-applied to a program, ensuring accurate progress tracking across application cycles.
- Graduate Application Handling: Resolved a bug that allowed pending applications from already-graduated mentees to be incorrectly accepted. Graduates are now properly excluded from the acceptance workflow.
- Program Term Processing Stability: Fixed nil pointer panics and improved goroutine synchronization during program term processing, resulting in more reliable background operations.
- Active Term Detection: Fixed an issue where undefined values in active term checks could cause unexpected behavior in the frontend, improving overall application stability.
- Intercom Chat Integration: Resolved multiple issues with the Intercom support chat service, including incorrect boot sequencing and missing WebSocket/media content security policy support, ensuring the chat widget loads and functions reliably.
- Property Naming Consistency: Standardized the
activeproperty across project models and components in the frontend to prevent data inconsistencies.
Improvements
- Mentor Statistics: Fixed errors in mentor statistics calculations, ensuring more accurate reporting for program coordinators.
- Application Decline Validation: The bulk decline workflow now requires applications to be in a pending state before they can be declined, preventing unintended status changes.
- Background Processing Performance: Reduced processing delays and improved slice handling in mentee batch operations, making background jobs run more efficiently.
