v0.1.4

Smarter Changelog Agent, Role-Based Access, and UI Improvements

New Features

  • Role-based product access — Users now only see the products they are authorized to manage, improving security and reducing clutter in the interface.
  • AI-powered changelog pipeline — Introduced a Claude Agent SDK integration that automatically generates changelog entries from GitHub activity. The pipeline includes end-to-end tests and supporting documentation.
  • Smarter changelog generation — The changelog agent now uses improved prompts, diff-aware context (so it understands what actually changed in code), and a critic validation step to produce higher-quality, more accurate entries.
  • Per-product agent memory — The changelog pipeline now retains context on a per-product basis, allowing the AI agent to generate more consistent and informed changelogs over time.
  • Draft changelogs sorted first — In the admin listing view, draft changelogs now appear before published ones, making it easier to find and act on work in progress.
  • Reorganized admin sidebar navigation — The admin sidebar has been restructured for a cleaner, more intuitive layout.
  • Disabled products hidden from dropdowns and counts — Products that have been disabled no longer appear in selection dropdowns or contribute to summary counts, keeping the interface focused on active products.

Improvements

  • Simplified AI tooling layer — Adopted MCP SDK v2 patterns to reduce boilerplate in tool definitions, making the agent pipeline easier to maintain and extend.
  • Consolidated backend and frontend structure — Services, controllers, and routes have been reorganized into a flatter, more consistent structure. This reduces complexity and makes the codebase easier to navigate for contributors.
